The Web Application Specification Language (WASL) family is a set of semi formal modeling languages for the model-driven development of web applications. It contains the modeling languages WASL Data 1.0, WASL Generic 1.0, WASL JavaEE 1.0, WASL Php 1.0 and WASL Python 1.0 addressing the web platforms Java EE, Php and Python. The languages are interconnected by transformation definitions, which support the transformation of platform-independent WASL Data and WASL Generic models to platform-specific WASL models and from those to source code.
